Are you counting calories, LazyDaisy? Drinking plenty of water (or sugar-free liquid)? I know you are moving plenty. Are you sleeping well?

Could be body weirdness - there’s a lot of it about! ;)
When I first lost 3 stone, I would often go for a couple of weeks without losing anything and then get a bigger loss on the 3rd week.

I've had a fab weekend. It was AtC's 60th birthday on Saturday, so the day started with her son bringing over a large selection of croissants for breakfast. I gave lunch a miss because her husband and daughter-in-law had arranged a family get-together with a meal at a nice restaurant. There were 24 of us so we got a room to ourselves.
A glass of bubbles on arrival; 3 course meal; wine on the tables. I don't really drink much these days and Geoff has decided to do Dry January and I'm supporting him in that too, so elderflower presse for us. I got a 2nd glass by offering to drink Mini's bf's for him as he doesn't really like flowery drinks :)
The meal was very nice but calorie packed I suspect. Then there was the birthday cake. I'd made a Christmas cake soaked in amaretto and her DiL had made a chocolate and a vanilla sponge cake, iced them all and decorated them so it was a lovely 3 tier creation. We didn't have any on the day but had a chunk for supper last night - it is one of the best fruit cakes I've ever made.
I've tried to counteract the calories by running more and cutting back a few calories here and there. Other than that, I've stayed on plan (even on Sunday when there was a houseful of visitors, who were very nicely catered for at lunchtime) and I seem to have lost a few grams since my weigh-in last Thursday 🤞

I get that too, SarahWoo. The 3rd week is usually a 2-3lb drop so averaging a lb a week.

Well done GM, in the face of a graat deal of temptation!

I think I'm not actually moving as much as I should. The weather's been so mizz I've spent too much time on the sofa huddled under a blanket watching crap old films (which I love!)

Maybe I should start the Spring cleaning :-)

It's definitely been "hot drink, snuggled on the sofa with the tv on" kind of weather :)

That sounds like a fabulous celebration for the lovely Alice. Well done on being conscious of things while enjoying yourself.

I also get weeks where I feel I should have done well (last week) and then another week it will come off.

Finished work tonight hubby had prepped tea for me to finish and Ive made ham and leek tartfalette (pinch of Nom) for tea tomorrow and a veggie broth for next couple of days lunches. Looking forward to a lazy night tomorrow.

I haven’t been drinking enough water today and I’ve got a banging head.

When I was doing the Zoe IF study, I swapped my mid-evening cup of tea for a cup of hot water.(OH thinks I'm bonkers.)
I've kept that up and in fact qill quite often choose hot water over a cup of tea. The calories saved are minimal of course but it seems to suit me better.
