Protein is well catered for, I'd say. Plenty of fish, chicken, lamb, cheese in dishes I've made.
Tonight's supper is the roast garlic and herb chicken, which we've had before and was very tasty. (Butter/garlic/herbs under the skin of the chicken, lemon juice over and lemon halves in the cavity.) Nothing far off how I'd normally roast a chicken but it's good to know it's 'helpful'.

A once a week deviation won't be too significant, LG. Think about how you serve it. If it's with protein/fat that's better than other carbs, so butter or cheese is preferable to baked beans, but you have to consider the extra calories. I've had a sweet potato a couple of times, when Mr GM had baked potato, and it didn't interfere with weight loss. It was the alcohol, cake and chocolate that did that
