The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
We've got a two person tent (which is probably more like three person, but I wouldn't). We clearly are not going to use it again any time soon. It has two rooms - a porch type room and a sleeping room. You are welcome to it if you'd like.
It holds a double air bed, and plenty of stuff.
Shout if you'd like it, otherwise I'll offer it to some other random strangers on the internet.
We've got a four man tent, which is more like a two man tent - but we're thinking about something that would give us a little porch area, plus a bit of room for the dogs to sleep (on future escapades).
Just finished listening to ep. 25. Focusing on activities, training and events - and trying to be 'all things to all people' - wouldn't work, so featuring, for example, night swimming [anyone remember REM?], lapping for all its benefits and making best use of the stats and analysis opportunities allows the listener to extend her/his knowledge and maybe choose something different, inspired by people who've tried it.
Being aged and attached to 'my' forum threads, I miss out on the coded nature of, e.g., the Gravel thread - but I never 'got' Prague either....
Ambient music is so broad - I liked the Orb but much preferred The KLFs 'Chill Out' album, with birdsong a-plenty! Some of the voice samples were difficult to make out - my age & ears again
Sorry to hear about your calf Fetch. On positive note, calf does heal quite quickly.
I have no idea what Gravel thread is about (is it like Mornington Crescent and it's surreal nonsense and the funny thing is it doesn't mean anything? If so, you're not allowed to say, so I don't even know why I'm asking.)
Swits - Prague was really simple. Someone post a picture saying "Guess where I've been?" It was a postcard type pic of Prague, clearly saying "Prague" on it. So the thread response, in typical FE sardonic style was "Is it Prague?" And much lolling ensued!
Did you want me to explain that or was it rhetorical?! G
If only you could get some local physio advice Fetch !
Moral from this - never run round and round and round and round in small loops.
One feedback - as you're pondering and tuning your yearly summary and catering for runners, swimmers, bikists ... can you ponder walkers and add that into the mix?
Will be interested in 'big tent' feedback -
- do the dogs stay in their area ? - does it fit in the car ? - does the kit you take expand to fill the bigger space?
