Licensing laws stated that to buy a drink on a Sunday, one had to be a bona fide traveller - which was defined as over four miles from home . Visible behind is the River Carron (unsurprisingly, perhaps) which if you follow it downstream, will lead you to the Kelpies (and, incidentally, past my house).
