The guys that won the supreme champion award this year are from a brewery with 2 full time and 2 part time staff. One of the part timers thinks he'll probably have to become full time as a result of the win. I can't recall ever having had one of their beers before (but I don't keep a diligent record of such things!)

I would imagine they'll all be doing a bit more than FT, the winners always do well. It has just crossed my mind that the GBBF would be a good place to hold our football beer bet!

In Ipswich there was a Greene King pub that sold excellent pints of IPA and Abbott. Walk half a mile and a non Greene King was selling undrinkable IPA.

Although the Fat Cat in Ipswich often has it and the pub that used to be called the Black Adder when Alan Brazil ran it but is now called something else (we still call it the Black Adder) has it from time to time too.

Now called the Thomas Wolsey. Remember AB as landlord of the Black Adder!
