Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cheers Baroness. Yep, much rain, merriment and gas. Great fun. About 30 nutters took part.

The winner took the nuclear option of tipping the final pint over his head to catch the guy the had got back first, who was struggling to finish his third pint. Controversial but within the rules apparently. There’ll be scores to settle next time😁

One of the local pubs here changed hands recently. It was ok before, but they had let it go a little. It's in a rather awkward spot, between two Robinson's and the new micro pubs with big selections of ever changing beer.

We thought we would give it a go. Good enough, decorated, they're doing decent food and had 4 beers on, Bombardier, Wainwright, Landlord and Pride. A bit samey but different from anything else.

Worth another visit..

Excellent. It may or may not have been helped by coverage in the CAMRA podcast!

Adnams have announced two new beers for 2023 - a pale ale called Secret Springs and a craft beer called Siren. Secret Springs sounds like something similar to Mosaic but I look forward to trying both when up in Southwold in a few months.

I can't remember the one they launched last year but it was awful. Had a look at the website to refresh my memory but it wasn't there. I think they must have got the message when a good chunk of the brewery tour said that it wasn't their best.
