Thanks for info re: Oringen.

The biggest issue might be getting there. Handy from Arlanda, but can the flying be justified in light of climate change?

I think probably not, but I haven't made my mind up yet.

Anyway, if any of you have thoughts on this: fetcheveryone.com/forum/how-to-score-a-team-competition-62004

It'd be appreciated.

Unlikely, but if anyone is thinking of doing the British Night Championships on Ilkley moor in a few weeks, you've got until next Tuesday to enter!

I'm not taking any late entries without an outstanding excuse.

Fragile Do Not Bend
I’ve got my first first urban orienteering event on Sunday in Whitstable. Downside it’s forecast to be wet and windy, upside that should mean fewer tourists to dodge round. :)

I’m quite looking forward to doing a course where the navigation is a bit easier and the length a bit longer than I usually do.

This was a section of last Saturdays SEOUL event in Bracknell. You couldn’t take your eyes of the map for one second.

Wait until you see my new East Leeds map, SC.

On the schedule for a proposed UKUL event next July (2023), combined with a sprint + chasing sprint on the day before.

Worth a trip to Leeds....

Shame I missed that one. I did a 'dumbell score' event there a few years ago (a JK warm up event). Visited the same control twice on my way round, it all looked the same!

Now looked at the Great Hollands map on RG ( bko.routegadget.co.uk ) - good area.

I think the SE bit is better than the NW bit though.

And looking at the courses, they're a tad linear for me. But that's a planning style thing.
