No worries Turkish... haven't seen anything on chess.com - will have a look and see if I can find you π I'm on chess.com whenever I can and tend to play the games that are waiting on moves. I find the site less than helpful for playing a specific person if they are not friended or just having played a game with me. I find it very frustrating the chess.com site gives me such grief - I feel like a pensioner struggling with technology π I used to consider myself IT literate - I guess my brain is not as agile as it used to be π₯ Apologies if I have missed posts or challenges π |

Youβre not alone in having difficulties with that website Boffin. Itβs challenging and also is inconsistent from phone and website.

JCB
Easiest way is often to go to the club and then search itβs membership. Then click on the person and then challenge them to a game.

3 to 4 years ago when I was last on it, chess.com and the app too were actually pretty good and mostly it was intuitive on where things were. After coming back to it recently there have been many changes and very few of them are for the better. I'd say not only is it very intuitive now, but a lot of the functionality I would now class as broken or buggy. Very weird :s

Interesting thought there JCB hadnt considered members through the Fetch club on the chess.com site... I have been adding Fetchies as friends ( as was suggested weeks ago by one of you - sorry, pants memory, so I have forgotten who to credit, although remembered the point π) Hadnt realised chess.com has a club functionality to it.... have been using Wingy's spreadsheet of names - finding the username and checking that person's game history against other Fetchies to confirm ... longwinded - now there may be an easier way - cool π |
