Sounds good to me, I don't mind rated, but I'd understand if the big boys don't want to risk their rating - if we go unrated any div 1 player who loses to lower division opposition has to have a grainy black and white replay of their game shown before every future round of the FE cup forever

Thats the mistake I was making Dio.. and something am trying really hard to not do now, playing much more tactically now, and it seems to be working, although game last much longer....

Bax - Love that idea! Chess.com allows you to replay the game from a particular point so it would be great to show the mate move and then look at the analysis to show the critical error, lol.
Fetch - would love to make it a random draw but chess.com doesn't allow random draws unfortunately. No qualifying but I think the top seed gets a bye if we have odd numbers in the comp.
Bax, Bish - noted about the rated/ unrated. Rated would be a nice bonus for anyone that manages to at least get a draw in one of their games against a higher rated opponent.
