Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Hello everyone :)

I have been applying the CAN vibe wherever possible! On Sunday I walked (with crutches) for about 30 mins, and did some physio exercises. Back in work and moving around a bit during the day so all going in the right direction!

Great walking FRU and DT, awsome miles!

Treacle - well done, getting out there and facing the elements.

I am a bit scared to "walk" with my crutches in the rain and wind, terrified of slipping...but I CAN and will have a short hobble around at lunchtime!

Nice one MWW! Hope you managed to get out there for your hobble (but would not have blamed you for one minute if you thought better of it!)

Good stuff all of you!

I have been “resting” since my return from the crazy weekend as am Absolutely shattered.. the storm hit us with avengence this afternoon I did think I might get stuck on the island at one point with a cut off tide that never seemed to stop coming in!

Off for a mile saver run in a mo and another early night

I am at both Physio and the consultant tomorrow so I feel rest is best and then kick back into spin and swim tomorrow

Lovely to have a few more of us in the thread!

Small steps for me this week
- loads of sleep
- get on with water intake
- listen and learn at Physio

CANTastic!

Yay for daylit mornings Coachie! I'm still leaving for work in the dark, but I can sense it getting better each day.

Sounds good FRU - fingers crossed for the Fizz!

Nice work you two

I bet the moor was ace northern, I ventured out because it was just too nice of a day not to!

Resting the last three stressy and lurgy tired days seems to have helped as I manged a very low paced four and then back to the gym for 10Min hill walking on the dreadmill and what I am now calling “physio arms”.

Then a decent swim

It’s quite a good ploy to get dropped off at the gym as when you arrive back from the run you more or leas just get on with something else, the swim element is amazing for my arm too

Wonky week here with a bout of tiredness and feeling very much overwhelmed by many things.. however

CAN adjust our goals to match and today’s dollop of vit D however you got it is a good thing!
