Yes GM, we went to Truro. We have a hire car so no issues with parking.

Mandymoo are you still planning to do Stonehaven parkrun tomorrow? I'll be there wearing my red fetch buff and black 100 volunteer t shirt. Would be good to meet you 😊

Hello - new to the world of Camper Vans - we are in the process of purchasing a new VW T6.1 van and converting using Camperking. Finalising our spec - diesel heater yes or no?

We would be using the van for mainly UK adventures with a 2 year old and 4 year old (!!). Stoosh (my other half) would be using for ultra adventures and as his daily drive. He's doing Lakeland 100 next year so we may be looking at early spring Lakes trips.

Anyone used Camperking? Any advice/ tips appreciated!

We have a diesel heater and like it. A van can feel much colder than a tent at night. No idea about Camperking though.

We use our diesel heat a lot in the mornings to take the chill off.

We will definitely switch it on tomorrow morning cos it's gone a bit cold. We are in a forest park-up somewhere near Moffat.

We mainly use campsites on hook up and therefore take an electric fan heater. However, the diesel heater is still great on the occasion we use it.

Think getting back from a walk or run, soaking wet. Van in the car park. Diesel heater on and nice and warm.

It means I can use the van off site too and get it warmed up in the morning. Makes a massive difference having it.
