Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Port Nan Gael campsite on the south west of the island on the road to Iona. Looks like a brand new campsite.

Off to Scotland tomorrow (via Durham). Can’t wait to explore and to meet up with MM in Glenmore 😊

I love Glenmore!

Glenmore is one of our favourites.

We’ve just arrived and pitched up at Godrevy in Cornwall. We drove through the night to avoid the traffic and arrived at 6am. It was lovely to see day breaking as we watched the waves breaking on the beach.

We were at Glencoe last night and have moved onto Fort William. We are leaving the van here for a week while we walk the Great Glen Way.

A fiver a night seems pretty good value especially as we have a clear view of the cloud covering Ben Nevis. And the steam train. And Lidl's loading bay.

Walking from FW and getting the bus back next week.

We are actually booked in a hostel tomorrow night which seems silly as the van is here. The original plan was to leave it in Drumnadrochit and catch the bus to FW to the start.

Off to Scotland tomorrow (via Durham).

We’re off in the other direction. We’ve booked into a site near Porthtowan in Cornwall for our annual pasty fix 🤤

I could have come for a Glenmore fetchie meet but I’m off to Colonsay on Friday. Not in the van.
