Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I saw that on a Youtube video Ronnie - such a great idea and ideal for us as often we will want to be up and away for sunrise/sunset photography opportunities, which you can't always do on campsites.

That sounds right up my street. We did a lot of that in ski parks in the USA. Sometimes there was a toilet block sometimes some water. Often there was nothing.

I have fallen in love with our van. There’s a few things to buy and some things to change but it gets a big thumbs up from me.

Thanks for posting that link Ronnie, really interesting and very welcome. My immediate thought was "midges" (based on my experience of forestry locations in Scotland) but hey, it's a positive step!

Stick east coast. Don't tend to see many midges over here.

I didn't read it all properly. Hope that they take the positives from that trial and instigate it again.

East coast is lovely, but all the big mountains are located elsewhere ..... :-)

I'm lucky I think, midges always seem to eat whomever I travel with.

Our van is packed up and we are heading off to Devon tomorrow for the weekend, first trip since last summer, woohoo. Problem is that we tend to empty lots of stuff out of the van in the winter, and then take a couple of trips to remember to pack it all again. Minor things in the past, like tables, chairs, knives and forks...
