I saw that on a Youtube video Ronnie - such a great idea and ideal for us as often we will want to be up and away for sunrise/sunset photography opportunities, which you can't always do on campsites.

That sounds right up my street. We did a lot of that in ski parks in the USA. Sometimes there was a toilet block sometimes some water. Often there was nothing.

I have fallen in love with our van. There’s a few things to buy and some things to change but it gets a big thumbs up from me.

Thanks for posting that link Ronnie, really interesting and very welcome. My immediate thought was "midges" (based on my experience of forestry locations in Scotland) but hey, it's a positive step!

I didn't read it all properly. Hope that they take the positives from that trial and instigate it again.
East coast is lovely, but all the big mountains are located elsewhere .....

Our van is packed up and we are heading off to Devon tomorrow for the weekend, first trip since last summer, woohoo. Problem is that we tend to empty lots of stuff out of the van in the winter, and then take a couple of trips to remember to pack it all again. Minor things in the past, like tables, chairs, knives and forks...
