There was a male Bullfinch in my back garden this morning, I was really close looking through the window and was really impressed by the very bright salmon pink under his chin. :)

Garden birds that make me very happy when I see them- bullfinches, goldfinches, long tailed tits :-)

I've only ever seen a handful of bullfinch. Less than ten

we had the strange experience of a flock of bullfinch passing through a few days ago. I've never seen more than a couple together before.

I used to have a pair in my garden and one year there were two juveniles as well. Not seen them for ages.

Blimey..that's amazing Derby T..only seen 10 Bullfinches..I see Bullfinches or hear them every day and if it's light when I run I see them in several localities. Usually just two; sometimes I'll have five in the garden when the buds are on my trees!

Willow tit. Also a huge skein of goodness knows what flying NW at dusk. Too quick for me to get my bins.
