Saw a green woodpecker today. Would probably not have noticed had Merlin not IDโ€™d it a few days ago so I knew what I was looking for :-)

I may have to try my cuckoo route! Not that Iโ€™ve ever seen the cuckoo on said route just grasped at trying to locate the source of the call.

Roseberry Common

Yes, that's the one where I've heard regularly and as you say loudly for last few years. And right on Roseberry Common (somewhere!).

Godwit still in the field near the moor. Garden Warbler and Blackcap in garden, as well as (allegedly, but are you sure merlin app?) Redstart.

No Swifts here, but we aren't in a great spot for Swifts.
