Apparently there was a Chiffchaff there as well DT but I didn't see it but someone posted a picture of it. We also had one reported here a couple of days ago.

Always nice to see a diver no matter what plumage.
Nothing quite as glamorous for me but a nice walk with the dog around Rother Valley produced the usual mixture of Canadian and graylag geese. Lots of BH Gulls making a lot of noise and causing trouble (always remind me of a group of unruly teenagers). A few Herron and comarants on the island. My favourite was watching a GC Grebe fishing

Rother Valley is normally good for Goosander at this time of the year riggys. Worth keeping an eye out for them. They're quite a distinctive duck.

The Scribbler
Within 5 mins of a walk into my local park I'd seen a magpie, robin and nuthatch. Now if I can just persuade some of their pals to visit our new garden...
