I’ve only knowingly seen two and they were both males. Magnificent birds. Nice spot flanker

I stopped twice on my run today - once to look a big flock of birds that had just flown into the top of a tree - definitely some Starling in there but couldn't work out what else, and then again about 50m later to check the Little Egret in the field was definitely a Little Egret as someone had said they'd seen a Cattle Egret fly over a few days before. It was definitely a Little Egret.
I've learnt not to try and look and run..... most of the time......

Being mobbed by LTTs again this morning. They seem to approve of the fatballs and suet cake I have at the moment

My LTTs are enjoying some Wensleydale cheese at the moment! Wensleydale taints pretty quickly after opening unless you keep it air-tight, and I had some which wasn't tasting good so I put it in a feeder. LTTs, blue tits and great tits have been working their way through it.

Cheese doesn't long enough here to get offered to the birds. No matter how much I like seeing them!

I thought cheese was like red wine - open and consume on day of purchase
