Very nice Rob, not at all jealous. Hope you are doing OK.
Was in Suffolk yesterday and added black tailed godwit, cetti's warbler, whitethroat and hobby to my lifetime list. I don't think I'd ever heard a nightingale or a cuckoo before so was hearing those for the first time, too.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Found this hole in my garden that wasn't there a few days ago. It's quite large, I've put my garden clog in the photo to give an idea of size. There are white tailed bumblebees sifting through the soil at the edge of the hole so I'm guessing that something dug into their nest and they are looking to see if any eggs are left.
I wonder what could have dug the hole? I doubt our cat did it. I know there are foxes, I've not seen a badger but that's not to say there aren't any around.

Hmm, looks a bit big for the squirrel.
I bought an ice cream this afternoon and the kiosk had a "pet" pied wagtail that hopped onto the counter. They fed it a bit of cheese.

Fantastic Derby. Bizarrely enough was up Moel Siabod today where I've heard cuckoos at this time of year for the last two years. Zilch today unfortunately

I had a couple of good views of a SEO the other evening, some very confiding golden plover and a black grouse. A handful of (presumably whin) chats today, as well as curlew, oystercatcher and redshank.

Wriggling Snake
Saw my first Swifts yesterday.
Longnor.
My favourite bird in may garden are the House Sparrows, they nest in a gap between the fascias and slates. We had the roof done in the Autumn and I thought it might ruin their site, but they seem fine, looks more of a squeeze. They appear to be trying to coax the chicks out at the moment.

It's usually badgers that dig up bees I think
