Price last time was just for the hostel though wasn’t it? Met a load of DofE groups setting off from there for the day last time I went past. Yes, I think that's the case. Strange really , as a package it's much more attractive with the land. Who wouldn't want to own a chunk of Great Calva? 🙂 Jonathan Bland owns it right now doesn't he? With rights of access for anyone? Having seen how the great British public have abused the countryside over the last 3 years I wouldn't trust myself to own somewhere like that and not take a shotgun to someone within 6 months! |

Well, I can sort of understand that. I guess anyone buying that land would have to accept that it's going to be heavily used by walkers etc.

Enjoy Synge I gave up on the weekend a good few weeks ago due to lack of training but kept saying … if by any chance it’s a warm dry day I’ll do a day trip …. I’ll not be bothering 😂😂🤦♀️

Not looking like canvas weather Synge! Hope it’s not too horrible I should have been in Glenridding this weekend for the dirty double - but managed to triple book myself for the weekend and it had to go  At least this time I realised in time for a refund, but grumpy! |
