I’m heading to Keswick next weekend. Thinking of doing either Keswick or Whinlatter Parkrun.

My wife is doing the Lakesman triathlon half on the Sunday. Would Whinlatter be too much before it?

Whinlatter isn't an easy course, but doing any parkrun the day before a target event is always a judgment call. One week my temporary best friend at the tail at Whinlatter was someone who was going to start the GB24 a few hours later.

I'd have come out sticker-collecting if I'd been able to, but I'm working that Saturday so my only parkrun option is Workington.

Thanks, might stick with Keswick. Whinlatter can wait until I drag a few more relations down.

How long does it take to bimble up Scafell Pike? Not sure how hill fit I am, but I've done all the Scottish Munros.

Derby Tup
Takes ages from ours but then we do live in Yorkshire ;-)

Shortest ascent is from Wasdale but Wasdale takes some getting to. What’s a bimble? Steady walk / run?
