Ages since I’ve been up from Wasdale but maybe 90 mins up? If you go take a detour to Lingmell on the way: well worth it

DT is right, Wasdale is a bit of a pain to get to. If you're in Keswick, why not go from Seathwaite in Borrowdale? Go via Styhead Pass, up to Esk Hause when you reach the stretcher box then maybe take in Great End before heading for Scafell Pike. If you're feeling adventurous, go over to Sca Fell then down to Wasdale before returning via the other side of Styhead 🙂

If you’re bobbing over to Sca Fell be sure to pull in Slight Side; one of my favourite peaks in the district

NE - you make it sound so easy! - how long would you allow for that? (so I know to double the time at least
I'd allowed 3 hours to top SP from Wasdale with a teen in tow - but we didn't actually get to try as the weather was so crap

Ros - at walking pace you probably want to give yourself five hours for that.

+1 for the Corridor Route. My middle son and I did that route from Seathwaite a couple of years back at Easter time and there were still patches of snow at higher altitude. We bagged both minor Pikes and Great End before returning to the car. Great route.

Oh - that's good to read, 2 mins mapping on OS and ~ 6 hrs is what I thought there's hope for me yet - on the list for the summer if I can get a few days sans teen and dog
