The Teaboy
The people have lashed out against the wrong target, whipped up by a rabid right-wing press. 37 years of governing for the 1% and deflecting the blame and now this has happened. Cameron is now going to go down in history as the man who ripped Britain apart. The Scots will demand independence and quite possibly Northern Ireland too. Sinn Fein are already agitating, and that's not going to be pretty...

Winded
Difficult for the conservatives on the leave campaign to say
1- Actually no the reason there is a massive shortfall in primary school places is our chronic mis management. 2- The NHS, yes we have messed that up too. We "increase" spending every year but every year it is a smaller proportion of tax take. `Usually this is a good wheeze.

I'm gobsmacked that anyone could think somehow Corbyn was gonna re-engage the Labour Leavers. Never going to happen. In fact he has probably saved a Scottish style bloodbath where Labour voted for their own execution. This is a working class movement, and you/I might not like WHY it happened, but there is a lot of opportunity right now to use the energy and momentum to turn into something positive. This was not discontented of Tunbridge wells, this was Sunderland, Birmingham, Bradford. Cooper and Umunna leading a London centric Labour party would have guaranteed the end.
Spanish elections on Sunday, lets see if there is a reaction there, PODemos running 2nd in the polls.
I might be disappointed, but Cameron had this coming since 2015. There will be now a reaction from the youth of this country, none of this studied, "can't be arsed to get involved, the governement always wins", and "politics is dull". The youngsters I speak to are well informed, articulate and passionate. It will take time I'm sure, but betrayals pave the way for long term change and a 51 remain 49 leave would have only papered over the cracks, get together, energise, mobilise, rebuild.

Terrible result and wondering where I can emigrate to. I still feel European.
So when will be all need to apply for new passports, and will we be able to travel to Europe as normal?

I largely agree with that, having been campaigning on the ground for the last 3 years. If the Labour party can realise the Blair days are over (and Brown too) we might have a chance

mrs shanksi
I lasted until 01:30 then went to bed with a bad feeling about it. Woke up to the sound of thunder and shanksi telling me Leave had won. I didn't want this to happen because now we'll have another Scottish indy ref and my country will be broken up. I'm heartbroken.

Fuck democracy, let's stay in anyway. We can't take such a monemental step on such a knife-edge vote.
