Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Excited that the people of Britain weren't bullied by the Establishment.
There is a total disconnect between the people, our politicians and Europe's bureaucracy.
Now, both sides, Take a breath. Don't panic. Steer a steady course. It's now time for strong leadership and for politicians to listen; something we haven't had for 30 years.

FFS. I'm ashamed of our country this morning, being duped by Farage, Gove and Johnson. We're stupid, gullible and bigotted, that's what this will show the world. One of Britain's darkest days. :(

Another thing, the 28% who didn't vote. Don't they care enough about our country? They have no right to complain when things go horribly wrong.

I know one person at my workplace who didn't vote.
2/3rds of my area voted to leave.

Hardly unexpected Scotland voting to remain although the area where I have family voted 49.9% leave / 50.1% remain so it was pretty close there (especially compared to say Edinburgh at 75% remain).

Surprised Newcastle went with remain although no shock with Leicester.

I am shocked by the way parts of England voted and also disappointed by the vote in parts of Scotland

Before I head off to work, this says very little about the EU. It's arrogance and disdain for the regards of individual nations has finally bitten them hard in the backside.

I also think Cameron should resign immediately. It's his fault as well.

While I tend to agree about Cameron do we not need some balance against boris give and co in our negotiations now.

A resounding win for bigotry and hate.
You need to be very ashamed if you were part of this.
