Gooner - I think balance will find the winner, I can eat a donut pretty fast but I am also dumb enough to run too hard :¬)
Doc - I just looked at them and bought standard JAM instead :¬)

I’ve had a busy day. I’ve been wfh and making doughnuts.
Just finished them - 3 varieties - jam, apple and lemon curd. I’m surprised to say they taste as good as shop bought even if some looked a bit wonky I’m having doughnuts for tea. Nothing else, just doughnuts 💕

Homemade lemon curd definitely works as a doughnut filling.

Ooh GM! Did you fry or bake your doughnuts? I really fancy trying to make some, but can't face using/disposing of that amount of oil (and I'd probably burn the house down)!
