We have put up the awning on our campervan for the 1st time and are sitting in it enjoying a beer and congratulating ourselves on a) getting it up and b) not killing each other or demanding a divorce. It has quadrupled our living space

jelly (limegreenjelly)
We had a lovely awning on our camper although now we’ve moved on to a small motor home I can honestly say that mr jelly is really quite pleased to not have to put the awning up and down any more! 😜

I ran 50km round and round a track yesterday, not much of a newt but I think it’s an official pb 50k for me and it’s taken the club record for my age group too!

My newt today was to combine a litter pick with my walk to collect my fetchpoint bug and Rundle digits.

I should litter pick more often!

My newt today was the arrival of a parcel of dog treats we've not had before. These are actually for the welcome packs for our holiday let but I allowed Wanda to try one of them for quality control. I then discovered she had sneaked upstairs and stolen another box of them from where I had put them (out of her reach supposedly) so hopefully our canine guests will also enjoy them!

Your newts have been amazing Hann
I picked up a few bits from the kiln, as usual I don't like them anywhere near as much as the stuff which comes from the adult ed kiln

Hann wins Newt(s) of the day - there have been so many! I love the dwarf daffy display and the photo featuring the table runner. You have been busy!

Oh, well done Jelly :)

Today’s Newts are that I have collected recently widowed MiL and she is staying here for a couple of nights, she hasn’t stayed since we first moved here and FiL declared it too quiet and refused to stay overnight again - nearly 30 yrs ago
The other Newt is that I have aquired (temporary) patience and haven’t yet had to hide from the endless endless talking.

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
Most of you know the score. Much in the bizarre way Easter has come to mean Chocolate, Lent is mainly thought of as an opportunity to Give Up Chocolate. At least until Easter. You know what I mean, 'What are you giving up for Lent?' * I say NO to this. Away with the hair shirts and the deprivation. Let's embrace change and the NEW. Spring is a time of renewal - and restoration.

Soooooo..... you don't have to take up indoor sky diving like my partner's 90 year old mot...
