I’ve done a lot of spring cleaning and organising which while not newt is very satisfying.

And I’ve done it listening to lots of newt (to me) cds on my newt (to me) cd deck :-)

Tried a newt recipe tonight. It took Anaheim to cook, creating a million dishes and wasn’t that great. Now I know though.

well done Sharkie. And thank you Poppy for choosing me - yes being up to date on my admin does feel good although I suspect my tax return wont get done any quicker than any other year but I will have all the money I am owed hopefully.

And my newt for today was a PB at parkrun - although to be fair my previous PB was fairly soft. The next one will be much harder! I will choose a winning newt some time tomorrow but may be later in the day if thats OK?

I always find everyone else's newts so inspiring!

Yesterday, after merely 7 or so years of hating the old one, we got a newt dining table!
Sam saw it in bargain corner at IKEA, reduced from €400 to €250. I absolutely love it.

Today I suppose another newt is going to Groningen for the first time time. Probably won't see much of the city itself, though, as it's for a rugby match. What definitely won't be a newt is playing several women short as it seems that two thirds of the girls in our squad are unable to leave Brabant lest they turn into pumpkins :(

Most of you know the score. Much in the bizarre way Easter has come to mean Chocolate, Lent is mainly thought of as an opportunity to Give Up Chocolate. At least until Easter. You know what I mean, 'What are you giving up for Lent?' * I say NO to this. Away with the hair shirts and the deprivation. Let's embrace change and the NEW. Spring is a time of renewal - and restoration.

Soooooo..... you don't have to take up indoor sky diving like my partner's 90 year old mot...
