Good choice. A runner with Jelly's experience running a PB at a standard distance is brilliant.

Thanks guys! Looking forward to reading todays newts!

This is quite a newt for me on Mother’s Day! I’m cooking my mum a roast and taking it over for her, followed by freshly baked scones with jam and cream!

Much in the way Beanie enjoys other people's DOMS, I have special appreciation for anyone who feels sick/actually throws up from effort. It's a sprint training badge of honour. God knows why - doesn't 'really' mean you've worked any harder than someone who isn't chucking up on the infield. But there you go :-)

Great choice.
My newt today is cooking a recipe I have never cooked before!

And also have tried a 'mushroom popcorn' for the first time (which was an extra sent with a fancy-cook-at-home-restaurant meal we had last night). I like them but BaronBR thinks they are weird.

No NEWTs today yet.
Preparing the food forest for NEWT plants, but I doubt I will get to planting today. It is a LOT of work...

* have already had time to explore the town. Very nice so far. :)

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
Most of you know the score. Much in the bizarre way Easter has come to mean Chocolate, Lent is mainly thought of as an opportunity to Give Up Chocolate. At least until Easter. You know what I mean, 'What are you giving up for Lent?' * I say NO to this. Away with the hair shirts and the deprivation. Let's embrace change and the NEW. Spring is a time of renewal - and restoration.

Soooooo..... you don't have to take up indoor sky diving like my partner's 90 year old mot...
