Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice SarahWoo!

I’ve got my eye on a running away from the kids hoody! But anything involving cake would also be on my hoody list!

Some super newts today already.

I’m used to training with bars and weights and kettlebells. Recently I’ve been trying Calisthenics for a change. Today I started training for a back lever which is newt on its own but involved some other newt stuff like using gym rings & stability balls for preparation and newt movements like skin the cat (which I’ve done on a pull up bar before but not on gym rings so is newt-esque).

Great running Ness and MM!
OU courses are expensive but then plenty of hobbies are. A friend did hot yoga, it cost her 2k a year, but then she thought how much she loved it and that it was worth it to her. Some people have expensive hobbies like cars and motorbikes and skiing holidays, I suppose it comes down to priorities as well as if you can afford it. Personally I’d always prioritise my pottery classes, I probably spend quite a lot on those over a year but live every second

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
