Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've been to the garden centre!
Before I left Sam was joking that I'd never need the whole hour that I had been allocated (non essential shops are still by appointment only, and in this case all appointment windows are one hour, in some you're only allowed 20 minutes), not somehow I lost 52 minutes in there!

Just the novelty of not being at home, I suppose.

I picked up newt plants for the craftoriffice, bathroom, and living/dining room, and a birthday present for my step-mother-in-law (this time last year we said 'we'll skip this year and do something together next year' ...) - a pair of cheerful cotton blankets the she and her best friend can use if it's a bit chilly when they're having a cup of tea together in the garden. Now we need to get them wrapped and in the post pdq so they have a chance of getting there in time.

Just heard that the last materials for the new garden path will be here in about half an hour also.

Sharkie - that was a really lovely pick and explanation heart

For the first time (in a long time, possibly ever) I've managed a whole set of 10x400M intervals, all a little less slow than I planned/expected :)

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
