The Great Raemondo
My phone has been being a bum and regularly freezing or doing odd things, so I ordered a new one yesterday, and it arrived this morning.
Slightly annoyingly, the case for it won't arrive for another week.

But yay, newt elephone!

I too am starting my first ever virtual challenge. I will actually be on the actual route a few times, as I am planning rides to Caerphilly and Chepstow Castle, where I will do some walking and currently pondering the 12 mile walk to Hay castle, along Offa's Dyke. If I dropped the car in Hay, cycled back, then walked and drive back?

I heart bluebells. We have planted some in the garden and the leaves are doing well, no sign of flowers yet though

Checking in with multi posts:

First wood anenomes
First trip down Beaney's Lane (not Beanie's Lane - though it should be as it is part of Beanie's Land on the Conquercise map)
First 6.5 mile walk this year

They're all newts.

Oh and ricotta drop scones for brekker (with warm raspberries and blueberries) also first time for ages.

Loads of newts! Great start to the Challenge, Sharkie :)

I have 2 newts today. I've been for a walk with my daughter and pushed RR in her pushchair for the first time (when we've walked before, RR has always been in a sling but she's too big for that now really).
I've given RR a bottle for the first time too. She has only just (at 8.5 months) deigned to have one having been breast-fed from birth.

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
