Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Another newt bike route today. Friend billed it as 4-4.5 hrs. We were out for 5.5 hrs. Mostly good fun. We then got take away from a hotel that’s en route home. We sat in our cars with windows open so we could chat and eat. It was a great day.

My newt is I recorded my chicken sorting tonight. Just over 800 metres carrying drinkers etc at a brisk pace. I do this every day! Surprised! Going to wear the Garmin at my clients too this week, just to see how much I walk in a day!

Right at the start of this year's newting, jennywren created a room of her own. That's been in my head ever since and has probably been one of my favourite newts this year. ItWe have a room that isn't used other than for dumping stuff in, so I've claimed it and have made a good start at clearing it today. I know how I want it to be and there's still a little way to go. I probably won't finish it by next Sunday but I am well on the way :-) It's going to be my little cosy bolthole

Lovely WA
-I'm trying to work out how to do similar with daughter's bedroom. She's unlikely to come back to live here, but there's still a lot of her stuff in it and hopefully she'll come home to stay sometimes so I don't want to "turf her out" as it were.

My newt - whilst tidying a drawer that had become a bit of a dumping ground I found a manicure kit someone had bought me at some point goodness knows how long ago. I have filed my nails and put a coat of "ridgefilling basecoat" on them. I can't remember the last time I did anything to my nails other than try to remove mud from underneath them.

That's such a good idea, WA.
My newt is my highest ever mileage month - 101 miles beating my previous high of 100 miles, back in 2013.

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
