It says here that from the 1st to the 7th of each month you vote. Nominating takes place before/after that as in the rest of the month. For that, I think you need to go to someones profile and click nominate for MOTM.

Not a very exciting newt so far but I listened to the Archers omnibus (or at least some of it). I usually listen during the week. I don't like the fancy theme tune for the Sunday edition!

Later today I will have another newt. I will be staying in a holiday cottage for the next couple of nights - I do know going on holiday isn't allowed but this is to enable us to move house in a couple of days time and stays elsewhere for house moves are not illegal. For now though..... back to the packing and cleaning!

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
