That should have said newted not needed 🙄

The butcher was great and so was the bakery and cheese counter. Not cheap of course but don’t mind paying extra for good, local meat.

I saved a frog today, never done that before, glad I spotted it on the path before it got trampled :-)

A newt route today travelled slightly away from home and home to meet my friend half way. We ended off with 13m it was lovely & took in the bridges of Newcastle



Tea and cake at the end. Perfect

I frequently save frogs & toads they don’t get they may be squished by mountain bikers and it’s their season to be more visible.

I nearly got run over by a cyclist saving a frog in the middle of the road last year! I did have bright shorts on, he asked if I was alright, didn’t like my I’m saving a frog answer 😂

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
