Bought some festival tickets - expensive and coincides with c9 birthday. I am very mixed about the high bar but for the first time, c9 is really really keen to go

I set off to do a walk we’ve done loads of times. Met loads of people including a lady who told me about Fletcher’s grave. So I went in search and I found this:

It’s apparently the grave of the couple who lived in the grand house on the Rosehaugh estate back in its heyday.

Right I’ve looked back over yesterday. There was some great newts from more signs of spring with beautiful violets and talk of spring cleaning to

bja’s Highland cattle who doesn’t love a coo

Mrs Jigs little lamb hope it found its mummy (maybe it was in tbe naughty step)
.BBL. Re-homing of a much loved bike which will now have a new lease of life
jda’s New vaccines centre volunteering dishing out the vaccines
Linds was a biggie with the PhD examination

A difficult choice but I think I’m going to go with jda as his new volunteering will impact lots of people and gave them all a newt yesterday too!!

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
