I almost never pick up my phone if I don't recognise the number or it's withheld. They can always leave a message. Though I'm glad I did last Thursday as it was the doctor offering me a jab! |

I am baking Dutch egg cakes... I haven't baked those for over a year, as I only ever bake them when I have friends visiting. No friends visiting, but I needed cheering up! So baked them for myself. Bit sad, as they are linked to nice times with friends, which I haven't had for so very long :/

jda I’m the same, I don’t answer numbers I don’t recognise. I’ve also got Malwarebytes on my phone which flags potential scammers quite well. Home phone is more difficult though as we don’t have caller id and drives me nuts.

Wore my new hat for the evening dogwalk. It works very well. Fulfills all the important functions of a hat. ![]() |

Some great newts today. I get those scam calls all the time. Amazon Prime, HMRC, National Insurance number, if I don't press 1 immediately to transfer the money the police are already on their way to arrest me - that's usually the biggest giveaway as the police around here are 'never' on their way. Possibly if I phoned up and said there's a gunman who has also got an axe and is covered in blood running around in the street outside they might get someone over before Wednesday although not if it was a bank holiday in between of course - in fact next time the scammers ring I'll mention that fact..... |

I have ordered 300 summer bulbs, hope we get nice weather over Easter so I can plant them. Also had the kitchen fitter round this morning, first step towards getting our kitchen updated, probably not going to happen until autumn though as he is booked up. |
