Two coos in a field. Which one is on holiday? The one with a wee calf!

The phrase “examined my first PhD” reminded me of the Fry & Laurie sketch about quantity surveying. |

Nice one Linds! I have written a Newt blog about riding in the freezing cold! I have never ridden my bike in such low temperatures before. It was unpleasant, I cut it short! fetcheveryone.com/blog-share.php?id=421945 |

I have, for the first time, reported a scam email to phishing.gov.uk It was telling me that my vehicle tax is due and my car will be crushed if I don't pay. Not enough money on my debit card so I should pay on a credit card. It was an email address from Belgium. |

I have had multiple scam emails lately from Belgium... HMRC, DVLA etc where they seemingly originated. Thankfully, I used to work as a translator, writer and editor, so the modest errors in grammar and spelling stand out... They are getting ever more devious though! We have been unable to take your payment blah blah... now I only pay £20 vehicle tax, once a year, so it immediately flagged up as false, but with the old van I payd over £100 monthly, so with the current covid pinch I am feeling, I could have thought it was a genuine bounced payment!!! I think it is disgusting practice and it is the vulnerable and elderly who most likely fall victim. I did wonder if you could report these somewhere... Phishing.gov.uk, I shall make a mental note... |

Do you get all those phone calls too? Amazon, Iphone, all that sort of stuff? Sometimes I get a dozen in a morning. Really annoying. Telephone preference service says they come from abroad...

They are definitely getting more prolific. I had a phone call from the Bank of England 2 days ago, warning me my National Insurance number had been linked to fraudulent financial dealings and I needed to press a number right away or face prosecution 🙄 I hung up and I'm still here...

I haven't had any phone calls. I googled where to send scam emails and got the phishing.gov.uk address. It annoys me so much that people try to get money for nothing from vulnerable people.

I needed to go to the next village to pick up a prescription. I decided to cycle there but not directly so I’d get a decent after work ride. It was great.
