Newt lambs! I've hardly been out the door which is why this is so abnormally late for me this year. Also my longest run of the year to date (10k woop woop).

I "had to" rescue an escaped lamb which was so terminally stupid that it couldn't work out that it could simply walk under the gate which had a vast gap under it (I bet it came out that way and would hardly have had to bend down to do so) so I opened the gate for it and chased it back though to its friends.

Hope it wasn't a visitor from distant pastures :-) (don't worry, it really wasn't)

My new thing of the day winning seal got mauled by a dog and had to be put down. I’m really upset about it. Apparently the dog had to pulled off by passers by, who had to then go to hospital. Dog owner did nothing.

Sorry for the negativity ☹️

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
