I am taking it easy: goats cheese quiche in the oven, no cooking tonight! It is a bought one. That is pretty newt. Don't remember when I last had something ready made for supper,!

I also tried something of a newt on my dog walk tonight - I practice the things we'd do at dog class when out walking as we can't go currently and today I did a 'come away from distraction' exercise which we learned for Good Citizen some time ago. It involved Wanda off the lead walking at heel with me away from a dog approaching us who was on the lead. Sharkie will probably appreciate that this is a MASSIVE newt for us as I wouldn't normally do this outside the class environment with dogs we train with all the time.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
