Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I want a Newt badge but I reckon for as long as I don't upload my Garmin contents and start participating in those games that leave me flummoxed, I am stuck on 90.

This evening I did a walk that would normally be a weekend walk. It was lovely to do a longer walk in the evening.

Shiny was one of the best bits - but I mostly require an army of Kakamora.

:-)

We've had thrushes nesting in our hedge the last couple of years, and today I spotted the female for the first time this year- scratting around and collecting moss. It was lovely WFH last year, sitting in a Teams meeting, watching the young hopping about in the garden

Not many steps again today (amazing how much running keeps my step count up) so we finally sat down at 9 after dinner and tidying up and I suggested we go for a walk. First time we’ve headed out for a walk that late. It was cold and breezy but a pleasant walk.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
