We have been told we can’t go to Manchester !!! I do think Scots were encouraged not to go to London as well.
To be honest I don’t get the mindset of someone going to London when they didn’t have a ticket.

Pro-Scots propaganda from the Guardian or performative virtue-signalling by the litter-pickers, Zorba? Sorry, not buying it, either way. (and I'm Anglo-Irish rather than Caledonian)
Baz - yep, never been tempted to go to any game without a ticket, unless I was very confident of being able to get a non-exorbitant ticket from a tout.

Kamala Haggis has spent 18 months leaping on minor, domestic infractions in the domestic football sphere but , somehow , forgets to criticise mass criminality in London ?

Assuming you mean Nicola Sturgeon, she's responsible for stuff happening *in* Scotland, not the behaviour of Scots south of the border.
If the game was in Hampden, it's not as if Sadiq Khan would be responsible for the behaviour of London-based fans in Glasgow?

My son was one of the Scots fans in London. But weirdly he doesn’t even like football- went to be with a couple of mates. However, all three live and work on the South East. Plenty of Scots travelled South, but a large percentage likely lived in England. There are many of us down there.
However i sense of people starting to care less about the complicated tier restriction structure we have. It’s also very easy to point out hypocacies which undermines confidence (or give an excuse for us to undermine confidence).

Large crowds of drunken young men chanting racist and homophobic abuse in the main shopping and tourist areas of a city would be illegal even if there wasn't a pandemic.
Compare and contrast treatment of women protesting police inaction on sexual violence, black lives matters protesters, far-right nutjobs, anti-vaccine/mask nutjobs with treatment of Scotland fans yesterday. I guess if enough people do it, the police won't take action. (And to be fair, I think the police handled it well and there seems to have been relatively little trouble, and presumably any resulting rise in Covid infection will mostly be self-inflicted).

JRitchie , your irresponsible son completely lacked criticism from the hypocritical Scottish First Minister .That is my point .

It’s very laudable to clean up after yourself having disgraced yourself the previous evening. I’ve done it a few times.
My host always prefers it when I don’t mess up in the first place though. Behaviour like this is why the hooligans got put in cages in the 80s, like animals!

My son spent the game in a pub with his two mates and they were the only ones there supporting Scotland. They were honoured with the chant “you’re the only three”. All in good spirits (thankfully). I’m glad we didn’t win.
