Actually, I completely forgot, it's got all sorts of bits where you go on to the road briefly. It's not flat by any means, is it?! G

There is a wee incline both ways at Coalford and an incline coming up the main road in Drumoak. Few other small bumps along the way. Here is my |

Yes agree with Lesley, lots of little ups & downs. But the D99 will have a bit more elevation!

K5 Gus I've been analysing my D33 runs. There was only one (out of 9!) where I was in pretty good shape, back in 2012. That may be worth comparing with you. I clocked the time when I passed 26.2 miles - 3:58 - and recorded it in my Fetch log. Four weeks later I ran a flat, fast marathon in 3:36 - my eternal PB. So the D33 was only 22 minutes slower up to that point. Then the last 6.7 miles (total 32.9m) took me 1:06, or 10 m/m, when I'd managed 9m/m up to marathon distance. Of course if you don't do marathons, then discard these stats as useless! Otherwise, they may be some use in calculating race pace and expected outcome. NB - the other 8 have been much worse than that! |

Mean to ask, how is everyone's training going? Is anyone up to 20 miles comfortably yet? I'm not.

For comparison too, I walked quite a bit of GO & none of the D33.
