Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

PS: I'm not sure they made it back in time. The banner says New WR 110 yards but on the results page they are down having completed 109 (still a WR). Not sure what happened here.

I just checked and saw all 3 finished and no winner. I wasn’t sure how that would work but I’m glad they all got counted as a no winner but their laps counted.

I know when Malta (?) did same our uk organisers weee shocked as it means I one for the ticket to Bigs.

What a BYU absolutely incredible

Start as a team, end as a team. I know Merijn and Ivo a bit, and they are both genuinely nice guys, I can see why they wouldn't want to force a win.

Whilst it means no winner, all 3 are certain to qualify for the individual championships at Bigs next year, along with 4 others from the Belgian team currently on the "at large" list.

Incredible effort. If you take the top 2 finishers of the other countries only 15 (out of 61) did more than 110 yards *combined*!

So I enjoyed doing the kinda virtual Back Yard back in June for the F'Laps that i've just signed up for the 2025 Suffolk Back Yard Ultra.

I have a vague idea to try and crack 100km, so 15 yards.
