Corrah
Could have been Holburnmum too LG, as she is on here more than Shondo and they were at the same checkpoint :)

Last time there was rain I was at 1/4 & 3/4 checkpoint with Shondo and we had to make a quick exit at the end to thaw out. Think it's only twice rained that much. Worked out that I've done 7 years now. The other rainy year was the one they had the 'foot' medals, as they almost disintegrated.

Corrah
You'd better be HP :)

LG - looks like it was Shondo that spoke to 12barDavid :) Much awesomeness all round yesterday.

The horrible weather year must have been 2013 then because that was the year of the foot medals.

mrs_s - that's an amazing collection of bottles and medals there! Hope you get to extend that to a few dozen... I'll promise to run the 33rd one in a row with you!

_andy I will be 68 then! Not sure I will manage that! Why don't you come and run D99 next year? The bit past Banchory is much nicer, we'll go up Scolty Hill both ways.

But we'll have support. I remember doing whw with very challenging weather in 2012 and it was fine because I could change my clothes and get extra clothes. Loon Dod was saying last night that crew wouldn't be needed but he would allow it from Ballater onwards. I feel better on the longer races where I can get a cup of tea at regular intervals.
