Regardless of the match situation, speed of bowler, position of fielders, and availability of helmets. I'd just play it. Maybe not first ball, but I wouldn't be able to help myself. Just like when I played a reverse sweep in a League match for Belper Meadows back in 1994, it went to the boundary but I didn't get picked the following week. Short sighted Derbyshire bastards.
