Big London derby in the T20 tonight. Usually a cracking game. Let's hope the weather holds out.

I have problems remember what match I watched last month, never mind my first one.
I do recall watching Geoffrey playing without any Rhubarb, latterly partnered with Tavare. Exciting times.

Poorly, I got the first two generations. In my defence I was running, which on this site covers all ills.

So it depends, first game on telly was England v Australia 1975, Greg Chappell, first live game, England v NZ, 1984......
I'll have to try and work out that generational stuff from 1975, i think it could well be gooch.......

It's a bit tricky, because you can't just go the player's last test, as there might be someone who played in an earlier test with them who went on longer. For me, starting with the first test i saw (although if it was first i remember the answer would be the same) 1964 Eng v Aus Old Trafford G. Boycott 1982 Ind v Eng Calcutta G. Gooch 1995 Aus v Eng Perth G. Thorpe 2005 Eng v Ban Chester-Le-Street I. Bell Assuming that he is retired, i speculate that it will be Joe Root next.
