IIRC Graham Gooch played in April at Chelmsford in a match with Essex going way back and the umpires halted play due to the cold temperature. I think it was and/or had been snowing. Maybe even snow on the wicket back in the uncovered days?

There was the famous one at Buxton in June when an inch of snow stopped the Derbyshire v Lancashire county game, after Clive Lloyd had reached 167no.

England v W. Indies in a test at Headingley in May2007 got down to 7C - that's the coldest I can find on google, but nothing for a ODI.

That’s nothing compared to Dowlais Top. I’d be praying the ball wouldn’t come to me in the field, as I couldn’t feel my hands.

Hampshire 5-2 chasing 121 to beat Somerset. Very low scoring game. It's that time of year when there's no chance that the umpires and pitch inspectors are likely to query the result.

Essex batting well against my lads. The only chance of a result is if Surrey (1st innings) and Essex (2nd innings) are forfeited.

Old Trafford v SL this year was bloody freezing. Lords v Zim, late 80s. Coldest ever, late May.

Looks like Yorkshire might just do enough to go up.

They're winning the bonus points race at the moment compared to Middlesex

It's a road at Chelmsford. At the end of September. Who'd a thunk it?

Essex 388-2

Yorkshire are up.

Uncharacteristically they've managed to score lots of runs and not lose many wickets.

Might even potentially force a win yet.

182* for Kamindu Mendis in the win agains New Zealand - takes his fledgling average to 91, and gives him 1000 runs in his first 8 Test Matches.

Clapping Dan Lawrence on when he reaches the crease?
