It sounds as if Essex are making surprisingly good use of the conditions. I was expecting the side winning the toss to field first given the overcast conditions and that it will become harder later in the match to bowl with potentially wet ball.

Some good news TMS have the rights to the Pakistan men's tour (1st test 7th Oct). Not sure about NZ tour. No TV deal in place for the former from what I could see. Again not sure about NZ. Presumably sky will pick those two tests up |
