Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

After 3 indoor training sessions, Mrs Nico went to her first ever outdoor nets last evening.
She got picked to play on Sunday! Alongside Mini Nico in her first game back after the ankle surgery.

And guess who has been roped in to umpire? :-0

Good to hear Nico - your life will be hell if they don’t agree with your decisions!

I know it’s an unpopular opinion on here, but can I just say how much I’m enjoying the IPL this year? There’s been some very close matches so far. I know it’s not to eveyone’s taste but I enjoy all forms of the game whether 10, 20, 40 or 50 overs, 3 or 5 day. It’s all cricket.

IPL is most of the world's best players in front of huge crowds. I don't really see what there is to dislike, other than the fact that the world's best players obviously want to take part in it rather than playing cricket elswehere.

My club had a men v women game one year when I was about 12 or 13. I was proud of a cracking catch I had taken, until I realised it was my Mum who was out :-O

We’ve enjoyed having the Yorkshire v Derbyshire match on you tube today. Great batting from Root and Brook. Looked bloody cold though.

Also been following Sparks v SE Stars in the RHF trophy - Sparks not having the best start to the season… second loss in a row. Although by Duckworth Lewis today due to rain…

Root and brook both scored tons, which does worry me a little about how much more we'll see of them.

(Although I don't think root is off to T20 WC so he might play a fair bit before 1st test)

1st club league game yesterday - lost by 1 wicket :( . Six hours in the scorebox left me chilled to the bone. At least the players could run around a bit. And we do this for fun
