I do feel that Archer was treated differently, however it’s clear I’ve been given a stern talking to and must drop the matter.
All I’ll say is that it’s a terrible shame he wasn’t managed more sympathetically as he could be playing on this tour and making a difference.

No he wasn’t treated differently. Wood was bowled into the ground over and over until they finally realised ‘every time we do this he breaks down’. They’re just followed the same path with Archer.
Racism is a grave and terrible thing; accusations of racism are serious and grave too. Running about casually flinging them around for no reason is appalling.
Hopefully you’ll go away for a few days, reflect and learn.

Didn't the coaching team make Wood & Archer do a full speed several over "bowl-off" in training in S.Africa - which resulted in Archer's stress fracture?
Root & Archer have always been really complimentary about each other in interviews - if there's any discord, it's being kept well hidden.

I think I remember something of that Cerrers, and I'm fairly sure IIRC there was an element of 'managing' his elbow even during the 2019 WC. Accusations of stupidity, incompetence and all manner of ineptitude in the treatment of Archer (and Wood) are more than valid. But not racism.

Rain might save England, nico. Plenty of it forecast for the next few days in Sydney.

Nobody is suggesting discord. Root overbowled him. As a new player, Archer bowled. Anderson and Broad would have told Root to go fuck.

Broad and Anderfon would also have a much better idea of what was enough too.

Anderson has been overbowled leading to injury in the past too.
The SA tour where he bowled a ridiculous number of overs, did a really good job, then a (surprise!) batting collapse meant he was back out in the field in 2 sessions later having to bowl.
Not disagreeing with the feeling that there has indeed been some mismanagement of England's bowling line up, but there is also some truth in the fact that due to consistently poor batting, the bowling line up isn't getting rests in between innnings as much as it used to. This will lead to injuries.
There's also been quite a lot of bad luck. Olly Stone's back for example.

When Anderson was quite young and new, overbowled and over coached.
