I think that is what they have been doing in the Sri Lanka test already wasn't it fozzy? I only caught 20 minutes of it but I'm sure they referenced being in London.

That's all well and good, but what about that 1975 Ashes team? Bob Woolmer batted 8 and was first change.

Cheg - SL banned all outside broadcasters/journalists full stop on covid grounds

Hence TMS broadcasting from Aggers' loft.

I thought the situation was different in India and journalists would be allowed subject to quarantine.

Was some of TMS from the Oval? It sounded like they had put them all in the commentary box there to commentate from what was on tv

My understanding that Tuffers, Cook and the Jos Buttler/Surrey worshipping Dan Norcross were at the Oval, Vaughan and Simon Mann were in the Strictly Come Dancing studio in Manchester for some reason, Aggers was in his loft and Andy Zaltzmann was in his shed at the bottom of the garden.

Agnew was at home, Norcross & Tufnell at the Oval, other people scattered around homes and BBC sites.

Just watching the Abu Dhabi T10s while having lunch. Lisa Sthalekar commentating on a 6 - "no footwork, but we don't see that in this format" - just about sums it up :)

Back several pages, Ocelot Spleens correctly spotted that Barry Wood was the 1975 test cricketer with the long career.

He made his Yorkshire debut in 1964, and in 1990 made an appearance, aged 47, as 12th man/sub fielder for Lancashire, 11 years after his first spell with Lancs had ended.

Peter Lever, yes indeed. Nico will post a 2015 picture soon so I can make a tit of myself, I suspect.
